Build the financial skills every entrepreneur needs. Join three days of interactive online sessions with experts, peers, and practical tools to help you strengthen your business.

The Entrepreneurship4All Financial Academy is designed to help entrepreneurs at the different stages of their journey to build their understanding and know-how for running a financially resilient venture. Run over three consecutive days, each 1 hour online session will combine information, interactive activities, insights from experts and opportunities for participant contributions.  The Academy supports the Entrepreneurship4All Learning Pathways, and participants will receive practical takeaways and resources to help strengthen their business journey.

Senior Investment Manager

Sue Chambers is a Senior Investment Manager at River Capital, where she manages the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II (NPIF II), facilitating business loans ranging from £25,000 to £100,000. With an extensive background in banking, including previous roles at NatWest, Sue brings a wealth of financial expertise to her work supporting SMEs. As River Capital’s Diversity & Inclusion Champion, she is a passionate advocate for increasing access to funding for women and ethnic minority entrepreneurs, driving meaningful change in the investment landscape.

Her career spans from scaling Irish tech companies across Silicon Valley and Wall Street, to founding HBAN (Halo Business Angel Network) and establishing the first FCA-regulated investment fund in Northern Ireland.

Outside of work, Roz teaches community woodworking, using hands-on creativity to support wellbeing and personal growth.

Sustainable Finance

During this session, participants will be invited to:

  • Consider how sustainability can be factored into financial planning
  • Explore how sustainability relates to funding opportunities
  • Gain practical insights from entrepreneurs and providers of sustainable finance

Pamela Pokorny, an inclusive education specialist from the USA, holds master’s degrees from the University of Toronto and KU Leuven. With extensive experience in instructional design and inclusive learning practices, she has led departments and teams at various educational institutions in the USA and Belgium. Currently, Pamela serves as Programme Manager at EIT Food, where she leads the Digital Learning Unit in collaborative partnerships and projects focusing on accessible eLearning, innovative edtech, and lifelong learning in agrifood system transformation.
