Title: Studies on Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. Index to review the ecosystem

Author: Prof. Adrian Curaj, Marius Mitroi, Cosmina Paul, Elena Simion, Raluca Saftescu / Raluca Coscodaru, Oana Ionescu, Alexandru Dinu

Year: 2015 & 2021

Type of Resource: Article

Short Description: Both studies are connected through the development and continuous improvement of an index designed to assess the Romanian entrepreneurial ecosystem. The 2015 study provided an exploratory analysis of the key characteristics, challenges, and opportunities, introducing an initial index to measure institutional support, financial access, and barriers to growth. The 2021 follow-up expanded the index with new dimensions focusing on sustainability and innovation. These studies employ empirical research, case studies, and policy analysis to inform entrepreneurs, policymakers, and researchers.
